After successful careers in landscape architecture and marketing, we dreamed of building a family business that would make a tangible difference in our community. 

In 2005, we decided to make changes in our lives: we had our first baby and began our farm at the Prairie Crossing farm, located at the heart of Prairie Crossing, a conservation community in Grayslake, Illinois about 40 miles north of Chicago.

We steadily grew our farming knowledge and passion for soil health.

In our 18 years of farming, we've found that the biggest changes can be made through collaboration and continued partnership. We have joined forces with Liberty Prairie to create one organization.

Today, we steward 94 acres of land at the Prairie Crossing Farm, managing for soil health, and growing organic food for our community. We continue to collaborate with schools, partners farmers, chefs and food pantries as we always have.

We are honored to grow, share and collaborate to share food grown with integrity with our Chicago area community.
